Larimar adds Technal as a strategic partner for the Caribbean smart city

Larimar City & Resort continues to consolidate strategic alliances with leading international companies for the development of the first smart city in the Caribbean. The project led by CLERHP has signed a partnership agreement with TECHNAL, a leading brand in aluminum joinery systems and high-end architectural solutions.

The agreement was formalized during SIMA 2026, the Madrid International Real Estate Show, in an edition where the Dominican Republic played a leading role as the guest country. This collaboration will allow Larimar to integrate aluminum systems designed to meet the architecture, efficiency, design and sustainability needs of a large-scale urban development like Larimar City & Resort.

Sustainability and design with recycled aluminum

The alliance reinforces Larimar's international positioning as a city conceived from innovation, technology and construction quality. TECHNAL will provide solutions manufactured with recycled aluminum certified Hydro CIRCAL® 75R, aligned with the project's sustainability and environmental efficiency criteria.

Larimar City & Resort is being developed in Punta Cana as a new urban concept that will integrate residences, commercial areas, restaurants, a hospital, a university, sports areas, golf courses, hotels and leisure spaces within a connected, technological city designed to improve the quality of life of its residents and investors.

During the signing, Ferran Xipell, director of Hydro Building Systems Spain, the group to which TECHNAL belongs, stated:
